Experience: 8+ Years Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QE Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Selenium test automation . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across the software testing lifecycle within Agile environments , with domain expertise in Lending Decisioning and FICO .

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions while contributing to overall quality engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Java and Selenium .

• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.

• Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) within Agile delivery teams.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA/QE professionals to understand requirements and define effective test strategies.

• Develop test scenarios, test cases, automation scripts, and test data based on functional and technical requirements.

• Execute automated and manual testing as required and analyze test results.

• Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.

• Support integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.

• Contribute to automation framework enhancements and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Provide testing status, defect analysis, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.

• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and automation practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java .

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation.

• Proven experience working across the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) .

• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .

• Experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

• Experience with defect management and test execution processes.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Domain Experience

• Lending Decisioning experience is required.

• Experience with FICO platforms/solutions is highly preferred.

• Financial Services / Banking domain experience is an asset.
