Resident Engineer

Responsible for managing customer quality issues and acting as a key liaison between customers and manufacturing plants to ensure compliance, rapid problem resolution, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer facilities to provide on-site support during quality incidents and critical containment activities. Troubleshoot customer-reported quality issues and perform technical root-cause analysis. Coordinate the return of defective and warranty parts from customers to manufacturing plants for detailed analysis. Lead and manage containment and rework activities at customer locations, including hands‑on inspection or supervision of third‑party sorting companies. Ensure timely closure of breakpoints to minimize unnecessary costs. Enter and track all customer claims in the Bocar Alert Management System (AMS). Review customer portals to validate claim accuracy, PPM performance, and quality ratings. Prepare and analyze reports related to customer claims, sorting costs, line downtime, and customer satisfaction metrics. Review and validate 8D reports prior to submission through customer portals. Support the dispute process for quality claims, PPM quantities, and customer chargebacks. Travel to manufacturing plants in Mexico and Alabama to support customer visits, follow up on corrective actions, and enhance technical knowledge of Bocar manufacturing processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bocar
