Dental Assistant (DA) or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Part-Time – Hygiene Assisting
***Office located in Montgomery County***
Competitive Pay: $25–$35/hour , Based on ExperienceDA: $25-$30/hour | EFDA $30-$35/hour
Schedule:
- Part-time: 2 days per week
- (8-hour shifts)
- Room to grow!
- No weekends
Responsibilities:
Dental Assistant
- Assist Hygienists during patient visits
- Take x-rays and intraoral photos
- Review and update medical histories
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op care
- Set up, break down, and sterilize operatories and instruments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant's Responsibilities:
- Primarily assist the hygienist during hygiene visits
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Take dental x-rays
- EFDA duties & restorations at times
Requirements
- EFDA applicants: Active Pennsylvania EFDA license required
- Dental Assistant applicants: Current X-ray certification required
- Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills
