Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working with children or adolescents, especially those with special needs or autism, is highly valued
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory
• Patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions from teachers and related service staff
• High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary coursework in education or a related field is a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to students, including those requiring autism-specific assistance
• Assist with classroom tasks, activities, and routines as directed by lead teachers
• Help ensure a safe learning environment by monitoring and responding to student needs
• Support social, emotional, and academic development
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold all school policies
