Maintenance Technician

Job Details Permanent Maintenance Technician in the fast-paced manufacturing industry. Salary: $22 - $24 per hour. A growing manufacturing organization looking to add talented individuals. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual who is passionate about problem‑solving, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses a strong technical background. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and involves maintaining, diagnosing, and troubleshooting a variety of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines. Responsibilities Perform regular and preventative maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including mechanical and electrical faults, within a timely manner. Execute work orders and follow up on any adjustments or repairs needed. Maintain a comprehensive log of maintenance work for record‑keeping and reference. Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation and compliance with safety regulations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting modifications that could improve reliability and performance. Keep abreast of the latest manufacturing technologies and methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience with CNC machines, work orders, diagnosis, and troubleshooting in manufacturing settings. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and proficiency in using various tools and equipment. Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues swiftly and effectively. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments. Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude toward preventative maintenance. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities.
