Location: Shea Medical Center – 9003 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Category: Skilled Nursing | Shift: Day | Department: OR Operating Room–Main $20,000 Sign‑On Bonus available. Required: 1 year of Operating Room circulating experience. Responsibilities Practice guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics. Record patient medical history, administer diagnostics, operate equipment, and provide treatments and medications. Monitor patients, document observations, and consult with physicians and other health‑care clinicians. Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise patient care plans, ensuring they are family‑centered, evidence‑based, and culturally appropriate. Start, maintain, and discontinue intravenous lines and monitor for complications. Provide patient and family education on illness management, post‑treatment care, nutrition, and medication administration. Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed practical nurses and nursing aides, providing direction and support. Precept new staff and students, assisting their competency development. Continuously improve clinical knowledge and practice; evaluate quality and effectiveness of care delivered. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Integrate ethical principles and cultural competence into all aspects of care. Participate in evidence‑based practice initiatives and research to enhance patient outcomes. Education BSN required within 60 months of hire or 5+ years of registered‑nurse experience. Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience At least 10 months of med‑surg or acute specialty setting experience. One year of RN experience for all float positions. One year of OR circulating experience required. License and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
