Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer – Electrical Power Systems (ETO Equipment) Join our Central Engineering team and play a key role in designing and delivering customized low and medium voltage equipment. We’re looking for a driven Mechanical Engineer who thrives in an engineered-to-order (ETO) environment and is passionate about building innovative, customer-focused solutions. What You’ll Do You’ll lead the design and execution of power system projects from concept through completion, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, on-time solutions. This includes developing and optimizing designs, reviewing customer specifications and one-line diagrams, coordinating with plant engineering, and supporting production to ensure successful delivery. You’ll also provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and uphold compliance with industry and company standards. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred) 4–5+ years of engineering experience Strong knowledge of power systems and ETO equipment Proficiency with tools such as Creo, Order Editor, SEE PM, ACE, and ACE Test Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Project management experience is a plus PE license is a plus Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international) #J-18808-Ljbffr Schneider Electric
