Overview Rockledge Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant in Rockledge, FL to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-Ray, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed). Assist the dentist in managing dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Qualifications Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program Or six months on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation) X-Ray certification Nitrous oxide certification is highly recommended High school diploma or equivalent Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law Legal Disclaimer: We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
