Location Creative Options Position In Home - Direct Support Professional Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time and/or Part-Time Description Creative Options is looking for special people to support individuals with developmental disabilites in a home and community setting. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will assit individuals with activities that foster independence, facilitate community involvement and enhanve the overall quality od life. Responsibilities and Duties may include but are not limited to: Supervising, supporting and guiding individuals through their regular daily activities Assistance with meal preapration and/or feeding Support to learn daily life skills Medication Administration Provide personal care, toileting and/or hygiene assistance Facilitate community involvement Position Requirements Requirements for the position upon hire: Muste be at least 18 years of age Must possess a high school diploma.GED (proof must be shown upon hire) In some cases, application mauy be in the process of earning diploma/GED Must have reliable transportation to and from work DSPs working day shifts must be able to provide transporation to activities DSPs working day shifts must have and be able to provide evidence of valid license, auto insurance and have an acceptable driving record upon hire Successful clearance of state and/or federal background checks Must be reliable Must be able to read, write and understand the English language Abilitity to effectively adapt to different situations Ability to work effectively in a team environment Must have the physical ability to lift, push or carry up to 50lbs Must be able to walk, climb, kneel, squat or crouch, as needed, with or without reasonable accomodation Must have adequate communication, time management and organizational skills Must have the ability to remain active for extended periods of time Must have a positive attitude, friendly demeanor and strong sense of accountability This position is currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Options LLC
