Location: This position is based in Ankeny, Iowa, with dispatch from this site. Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report detailing its condition. Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries. Operate the tractor-trailer to reach destinations, utilizing knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills. Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate: Must be at least 21 years old. Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A). Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience. Meet our organization’s MVR and risk rating standards. This role requires proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to effectively and safely perform job-related tasks, including comprehending work instructions, safety protocols, and essential communications.
