Registered Nurse for AI Model Evaluation

Apply your adult inpatient bedside nursing expertise to improve the accuracy, safety, and reliability of clinical AI tools. In this remote, hourly role you will review, annotate, and evaluate AI-generated clinical outputs against nursing flowsheet documentation and current documentation standards, translating bedside practice into structured guidance that helps train and refine medical AI systems.

• Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical outputs using nursing flowsheet documentation as the reference.
• Validate accuracy, completeness, and adherence to current nursing documentation standards.
• Annotate and structure inpatient nursing assessment data to create high-quality AI training datasets.
• Provide expert feedback on nursing assessments and documentation practices.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or potential risks in AI-generated responses.
• Ask clarifying questions when annotation guidance is ambiguous, and contribute to refinement of annotation guidelines.
• Collaborate with technical teams to help improve model performance and behavior.
• Contribute to the development of clinical benchmarks and quality standards used for model evaluation.

Basic Qualifications

• Active RN license, U.S., excluding California.
• Recent adult acute care inpatient bedside experience, ideally in a non-procedural specialty area.
• Experience within the last 5 to 10 years, demonstrating familiarity with current workflows and documentation practices. Current documentation experience is prioritized over total years practiced.
• Comfort performing and documenting comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines consistently.
• Excellent written communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic electronic health record systems.
• Comfort learning and using new annotation tools and web-based platforms.
• Ability to navigate transcripts efficiently and to use AI-assisted tools appropriately while verifying outputs.
• Experience reviewing charts for quality improvement, utilization review, clinical documentation improvement, or clinical informatics.
• Previous experience with annotation, chart abstraction, or healthcare AI projects.

• Location: Remote work.

• Work requires independent, detail-oriented review and timely completion of assigned annotation tasks; candidates should be prepared to follow project-specific guidelines and meet deadlines.

• Pay range: 55 to 65 hourly.

• Must hold an active U.S. RN license, outside California.
• Must have recent adult acute care inpatient bedside experience within the last 5 to 10 years, with priority for candidates who have current documentation experience.
• Candidates must be comfortable performing and documenting comprehensive nursing assessments and following detailed annotation procedures.
