Posting Summary The Department of Psychology at Rutgers University invites qualified applicants to serve as Summer Session Instructors for Psychology course offerings. Instructors will teach one or more full undergraduate courses during the Summer Session, which consists of two sessions scheduled between late May and mid‑August. The position reports to the Department Undergraduate Director. Prepare and submit course syllabi Deliver high‑quality instruction Assess student work in a timely manner Hold weekly office hours Respond to student emails Submit final course grades to the registrar Adhere to all university policies, grade submission procedures, and deadlines Qualifications Minimum education: a master’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field; a PhD is strongly preferred. Prior experience teaching large classes at the college level is desirable. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: experience teaching large classes.
