Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in delivering patient care aligned with individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and assistive techniques to patients to improve mobility. Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and safe mobility practices. Document treatments and patient responses accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations. Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe, clean environment during all sessions. Travel to patient homes or care facilities to provide convenient and personalized therapy services. Requirements Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or certification as required by state law. Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Strong understanding of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage a flexible schedule. Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and perform therapy tasks. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various patient locations within the service area.
