Shift Lead

Summary: The Shift Lead supports the Restaurant General Manager and Store Assistant General Manager in their efforts to oversee all the restaurant operations. The Shift Lead assists in management activities including ensuring excellence in both product quality and customer service and overall supervision, during assigned shifts.Competencies:Sound judgment and decision makingAbility to lead with respect and integrityDetail-oriented and organizedStrong interpersonal and communication skillsMaintaining a high performance and accountable cultureAbility to motivate and empower a team to deliver the bestSelf-driven and flexibleMicrosoft Office Suite proficiencyEssential Job Functions:Support the Restaurant General Manager with the responsibility and management of all associates during assigned shiftsEnsures food, beverage and service quality meet or exceed standardsMonitoring all service equipmentPerforming closing and/or opening dutiesTrain and motivate fellow associatesAnticipating customer needs and addressing customer concernsPerforming any or all of the following duties, as directed by the Restaurant General Manager: preparing/transporting deposits, assisting with labor scheduling and product projections and financials for the store with manager approval.Ensures a safe working and customer experience environmentEnsuring compliance with all company policies.Contributing to a positive team environment through attitude and exampleOther duties, as needed.Succession PlanningThis position is designed to be a developmental role for those associates desiring a position as Store Assistant General Manager in the future.
