Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Onsite | Flexible weekly hours: 36, 40, or 48 hours per week. 36 or 48 hours = 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). 40 hours = two 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and two 8-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a birthing/labor and delivery unit throughout the night shift
• Perform and document continuous electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) assessments
• Perform circulating duties during obstetric procedures and deliveries
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support maternal and newborn health outcomes
• Respond to obstetric emergencies utilizing advanced life support protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Circulating experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• EFM certification at Intermediate level or higher required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ALSO (Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics) certification
• Perinatal NCC Certification (Maternal Newborn Nursing – Level I and Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing – Labor and Birth)
• First Latch breastfeeding certification
