Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorders.

  • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

  • Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective therapy sessions.

  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster greater understanding and resilience.

  • Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

  • Engage with healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and other medical professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care.

  • Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base primarily consists of individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work closely with diverse populations, providing tailored support to vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. This role is pivotal in creating positive changes in their lives, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and fostering long-term recovery.

  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

The Family Wellness and Mental Health Hub offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
