About the Position

Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Level II NICU setting, supporting admissions and normal newborn care for patients 32 weeks gestational age or greater
• Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
• Manage respiratory support modalities including CPAP and BiPAP
• Operate feeding tubes and syringe pumps as part of patient care
• Float to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience attending high-risk deliveries in a Level II or higher NICU environment
• Existing competencies in mother-baby couplet care
