The Group you’ll be a part of The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business. The impact you’ll make The Engineering function is responsible for all engineering activities within a firm to ensure that business objectives are met. Includes the creation, development, design and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards and procedures in all engineering fields. The Industrial Design area is responsible for creating and developing design concepts and specifications that optimize the function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance of products. What You’ll Do This is an advanced career level where a senior professional typically stabilizes. Applies depth of knowledge and experience to enable contribution in a more complex and/or critical environment. With wide-ranging experience, applies professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry may exist at this level (e.g., department/peer review). This is the level at which a career may plateau. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Takes initiative to recognize obstacles and create solutions. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead). Requires minimal direction. Who We’re Looking For Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
