Location: University of Missouri Rolla Position: RECEIVER (Full Time) Address: 1346 N. Bishop Avenue, Room 109, Rolla, MO 65409 (Online applications accepted only) Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. More details upon interview. Fixed Pay Rate: $17 per hour Job Summary Responsible for receiving, storing and inventory of all departmental supplies and food stuffs, along with maintaining sanitation in storage areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inventory and maintain necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department. Store food and supplies in correct containers and in proper storage areas according to department guidelines as indicated by non‑spoilage of food. Maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items per standards. Date, label, and rotate stock according to procedures as indicated by oldest product being utilized first. Order food and supplies based upon product specification as established by company ordering protocols and procedures. Secure designated areas of potential theft, dangerous chemicals, supplies and equipment to safeguard associates. Follow all security procedures regarding storeroom organization. Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles as indicated to ensure food or supplies arrive safely and intact. Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply. Report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment used to proper resources. Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines. Identify and utilize cleaning chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturers and per MSDS sheets. Utilize equipment in performing job functions according to department safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
