The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AS/400 (IBM iSeries), COBOL, DB2, RPG/RPGLE, and SQL , with a proven track record of developing, maintaining, and supporting business‑critical applications. Required Skills: 8–10+ years of experience with AS/400 (IBM iSeries) Strong hands‑on experience with COBOL, DB2, RPG/RPGLE, and SQL Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications on the IBM i platform Strong knowledge of DB2 database design, SQL development, and performance tuning Experience troubleshooting complex batch processing and interactive applications Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Experience with CI/CD processes in the IBM i environment is a plus Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support mission‑critical AS/400 COBOL and RPG applications. Design, optimize, and maintain DB2 databases and SQL queries. Analyze, debug, and resolve complex production and batch processing issues. Collaborate with modernization teams to integrate AS/400 applications with modern distributed systems. Participate in application enhancements, maintenance, and performance optimization.
