Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:00; 08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the Operating Room as a circulator License: Valid RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Operating room circulator experience in the intraoperative setting - Knowledge of specialties including retina surgery, total hip/knees, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, Lap Chole, hernia repairs, and podiatry Description: Seeking a registered nurse with operating room circulator experience. Duties include working 5 days one week and 4 days the next, totaling 72 hours within a two-week period. There will be one day off every other week. Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. The nurse will have a ratio of 1:4 and will work in a facility with 5 operating rooms and an average daily census of 18. Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems is required. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Vacation time off must be finalized prior to submission; a maximum of 7 days is allowed. If a major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. Full compliance is required to start on time. Travelers may need to stay over if there are additional rooms to finish, following specific guidelines. Compliance documents must be submitted in a timely manner.
