Step into a dynamic and rewarding school-based opportunity as a School Psychometrist, supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. This full-time, contract position begins October 1, 2026, and continues through May 26, 2027, with potential for extension pending performance. This assignment is in the Mobile, AL, area and may include multiple school sites based on assessment needs.

You will deliver critical psychoeducational assessments, collaborate with educational staff, and help shape interventions that empower students to thrive. This is an on-site position, working closely with a supportive educational environment and impacting a diverse student population.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychometry or related field
• Current, valid professional licensure in psychometry (please be prepared to provide licensure documentation)
• Experience conducting assessments and interpreting testing data for K–12 aged students
• Ability to travel between schools as required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards

Responsibilities:

• Administer standardized tests and evaluations for students referred for psychoeducational assessment
• Prepare detailed assessment reports and present findings to interdisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with educators and families to inform instructional strategies and student support plans
• Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP/504 planning sessions as needed
• Rotate between assigned campuses based on testing demands

Additional Details and Perks:

• Full-time, 40-hour work weeks
• Contract runs for the academic year; possibility of renewal for extended school year and next school year
• Interviewing on-site candidates starting August 26, 2026 (no interviews held between August 31–September 4)
• The assignment location(s) will be finalized prior to the start date as assessment needs solidify
