Maintenance Mechanic

Are you a skilled Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting and keeping equipment running at peak performance? We are seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to support production operations by maintaining, repairing, and improving industrial manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Maintain and repair production machinery, including packaging equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, boilers, and other processing equipment
• Complete equipment changeovers and support production schedules
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed
• Document maintenance activities and work orders within SAP/CMMS systems
• Participate in continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and breakdown reduction initiatives
• Follow all safety, GMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing or other regulated production environments is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP or other maintenance management systems preferred

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakdale, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.94 - $38.94/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
