What You'll Do As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents restore function, increase independence, and improve their overall quality of life. Responsibilities include: Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments based on individualized care plans Assist residents in improving daily living skills, mobility, strength, and functional independence Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and functional outcomes Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques, therapeutic exercises, and home programs Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care Qualifications Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license (or eligibility for licensure) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for rehabilitation and resident-centered care Positive, collaborative, and compassionate approach to patient care New graduates are encouraged to apply!
