• Salary: $130,000 – $165,000 per year (based on experience) + 20% Pro-Sal model with no negative accrual

• Hours of Operation:
  • Sunday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday : 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Wednesday : 8:00am – 1:00pm
  • Future Growth: We plan to expand to Friday and Saturday hours as our team grows, creating additional scheduling flexibility for our doctors.

Hudson Vets Tarrytown is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our brand-new small animal hospital opening in early 2027 . This is a rare opportunity to help build a practice from the ground up alongside our founding Medical Director. You'll have a voice in shaping our culture, standards of medicine, workflows, and client experience while practicing in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility designed for collaboration and future growth.

You'll provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats while practicing progressive, fear-free medicine in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility designed for collaboration and future growth.

What to Expect

• A schedule that respects your time. Enjoy a 4-day workweek with flexible scheduling and no on-call responsibilities. Our last appointment of the day is 6:30 PM – and we mean it. We will not be hospitalizing pets overnight, so when were done for the day, we’re really done for the day! As the hospital grows, schedules will continue to evolve with work-life balance as a priority. Protected lunch breaks and call back time will also built into the schedule.
• A highly supported team. Our goal is approximately a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, along with dedicated assistants and CSRs, allowing you to focus on practicing exceptional medicine.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
• Active (or eligible) veterinary license in the State of New York
