About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Pittsfield, MA. This position offers a guaranteed 32 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts and the possibility of weekend coverage. Candidates should be comfortable providing anesthesia care across a variety of adult and pediatric surgical specialties.

Compensation: $230 Per Hour

· Shift Length: 8-hour shifts

· Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week

· Weekend Requirements: Possible

· Call Requirements: None

· Trauma Level: Level III

Responsibilities

· Administer anesthesia for adult and pediatric general surgical procedures.

· Provide spinal, epidural, regional, and IV regional anesthesia.

· Support obstetrical and neurosurgical cases.

· Monitor patients throughout anesthesia administration and recovery.

· Assess patients before procedures and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.

· Maintain patient safety and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

Requirements

· Board certification through the AANA – required

· Active Massachusetts CRNA license or willingness to obtain one – required

· ACLS and BLS certifications – required

· Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
