Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, objectives, and risks, creating a solid foundation for therapeutic intervention. Facilitate individual counseling sessions addressing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions, employing intervention strategies tailored to each client's unique situation. Implement couples and family therapy sessions focused on resolving conflicts, improving communication, and fostering healthier relationship dynamics, while guiding clients through complex emotional landscapes. Develop customized treatment plans that articulate therapeutic goals and milestones, ensuring to adapt interventions based on continual assessment of client progress. Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients facing urgent psychological challenges, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning to support them through acute episodes. Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions and skill-building around coping mechanisms and available resources for ongoing support. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring all documentation aligns with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, including progress notes and treatment outcomes. Adhere to ethical guidelines while upholding client confidentiality and informed consent, fostering a trust-based therapeutic alliance. Patient Population / Client Focus As an LPC at Harris Behavioral Health Center, you will primarily work with a wide-ranging clientele seeking support for various mental health issues. You will serve individuals in different stages of life and with diverse backgrounds, including children facing developmental challenges, adolescents dealing with identity and relationship issues, and adults managing career pressures or trauma recovery. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and the ability to build rapport. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 95,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
