ProCare Therapy is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Paraeducators, Paraprofessionals, and Behavior Technicians in Sacramento, California for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

• Location: Sacramento, CA

• Start Date: August 11, 2026

• End Date: May 27, 2027

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Hours: 30–35 hours per week

• Typical work hours fall between 7:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

• Additional hours may be available through after-school programs

• Employment Type: Contracted W-2 Position through ProCare Therapy

What You'll Do

• Help students build confidence, independence, and academic success while supporting teachers in the classroom

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students

• Assist with classroom activities, instruction, and daily routines

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

• Reinforce classroom expectations and positive behaviors

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to help students achieve their goals

Ideal Backgrounds Include

• Paraeducator

• Paraprofessional

• Behavior Technician

• Instructional Aide

• Teacher's Aide

• Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• Childcare Professional

• Youth Program Staff

• After School Program Support

• Other experience working with children or individuals with special needs

Experience working with children, students, or individuals with special needs is preferred but not required.
