Registered Nurse - Outpatient - Community Medicine Cardiology - North Hospital

Overview IU Health is seeking a full‑time RN for the Cardiology Clinic located at 11725 N Illinois St, Suite 355, Carmel, IN. The role offers a $30,000 sign‑on bonus for part‑ and full‑time positions. Responsibilities Phone triage of patient inquiries. Process medication refills. Schedule procedures. Provide patient education. Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (or 8:30 am – 5:00 pm) with flexibility to maintain an eight‑hour business day. After training, a hybrid schedule may be available. No weekends or holidays are scheduled. Qualifications Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; candidates without such graduation may be considered if they have more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer. Basic Life Support certification through the AHA is required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Ability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction. Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
