Position Summary The Prosthetic Specialist plays a crucial role in the manufacturing and customization of dental prosthetics. This position focuses on fabricating dental devices from customer models, conducting inspections to ensure quality, and maintaining clear communication with clients. The role involves responsibilities in ceramic and zirconia work and places a greater emphasis on the skills of a dental technician, with knowledge of 3Shape and Exocad being a significant advantage. Responsibilities Fabricate and customize dental prosthetics based on customer models and specifications to deliver the best custom device and finished product for the application Inspect parts during production, including microscopic inspection, to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met Ensure finished goods quality meets required standards Handle and process customer property and finished goods carefully to avoid damage Maintain close verbal and written communication with customers throughout the order process Adhere strictly to documented processes and procedures Follow safety rules and maintain personal safety and the safety of others Maintain a clean and safe work area Record and report information accurately as required Perform job duties in compliance with work instructions Additional Duties Other duties as assigned by a manager Key Attributes Straumann Group has been inspired to make people’s lives better, improve oral health and restore people’s self-esteem and driving the company’s purpose to unlock the potential of people’s lives.
