Engagement Manager, WWPS ProServe DoD Delivery Team

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. What We Need AWS Professional Services is looking for an Engagement Manager who can lead complex cloud projects from planning through execution. You'll own project outcomes end-to-end, align technical solutions with customer goals, build high-performing teams, and drive strategic relationships across AWS, partners, and Department of Defense customers. Key job responsibilities Own and lead large, complex engagements end-to-end, delivering business outcomes independently with limited guidance Redirect distressed programs to successful outcomes; deal effectively with ambiguity and the unexpected Apply multiple delivery frameworks (Agile, Scaled Agile, Waterfall, ITIL) to build comprehensive plans across multi-workstream engagements Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements and executable roadmaps using AWS frameworks (Well-Architected, Cloud Adoption Framework) Validate technical solutions against mission objectives; lead architectural reviews and manage technical risk Maximize engagement value by negotiating conditions of acceptance, amending scope, financials, and timelines as needed Communicate effectively across diverse audiences (product, legal, finance, operations, partners, customers) and drive stakeholder alignment Influence AWS service team roadmaps, ProServe offerings, and organizational metrics Accelerate progress by creating or optimizing cross-team processes; establish operational excellence standards and reusable mechanisms About the team AWS values diverse experiences. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent experience 5+ years of program or engagement management work leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects experience 1+ years of working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner across multiple cross-functional teams experience 3+ years of cloud computing experience Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI or above Preferred Qualifications project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2) AWS certification Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr Amazon Web Services, Inc.
