Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Framingham, MA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. Respondents should be prepared to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and support resident-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Client requires candidates who can work approximately 30 hours per week.
• Willingness to provide services consistent with skilled nursing facility policies and documentation standards.
• OT or COTA candidates may be considered; license level must meet state and facility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with geriatric populations and restorative nursing programs preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.
• Work schedule: five 8-hour shifts per week.
• Approximately 30 hours per week guaranteed.
