Senior Water Treatment Mechanic Responsibilities Perform complex maintenance, repair, and installation of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, chemical feed systems, and other treatment equipment. Read blueprints and P&ID’s, possess electrical knowledge, basic plumbing skills, instrumentation and field set‑up and commissioning. Diagnose equipment and systems issues. Assist with the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Collaborate with operations staff to support continuous plant performance and efficiency. Monitor operational performance of mechanical systems and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records and reports related to water operations, including production data, maintenance logs, and regulatory documentation. Provide guidance and training to entry‑level technicians and staff professionals as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in water treatment operations is preferred. 3‑8 years of hands‑on experience in water and/or wastewater treatment. Thorough understanding of equipment operations and maintenance. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Salary Anticipated salary range is $22.90 per hour to $34.40 per hour.
