Market Development / Sales Manager - AI Data Center (Hyperscale Accounts, North America)

Position Overview
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining market relationships with AI Data Center and Hyperscale clients in North America, promoting YOFC’s advanced optical fiber and cable products—including Hollow-Core Fiber (HCF), Multi-Core Fiber (MCF), and IBR (Intermittently Bonded Ribbon) Cable—for deployment in IDC, DCI, AI Compute, and Chip- to-Chip / Rack-to-Rack optical interconnect scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development and Client Engagement
• Identify and engage key AI and Hyperscale customers across North America (NVIDIA, Google, Meta, Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, etc.).
• Build long-term relationships with IDC operators, data center constructors, and system integrators.
• Promote YOFC’s advanced optical fiber and cable products and explore opportunities for product adoption.
2. Sales Promotion and Opportunity Management
• Understand customer needs in latency, bandwidth, and energy optimization for AI and DCI environments.
• Lead business discussions, pricing, sample coordination, and contract processes.
• Preliminary analysis of customer technical requirements for optical fiber and cable, deliver the requirements to HQ technical team.
• Collaborate with HQ technical and engineering teams, drive product customization, project qualification and technology introduction.
3. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis
• Track AI data center interconnect trends (InfiniBand, Ethernet, Co-Packaged Optics, etc.) and competitor strategies.
• Gather insights on customer roadmaps, supply chain developments, and industry policy impacts.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Coordinate closely with R&D, Product, and Operations teams in China HQ.
• Support regional strategy planning and account-based development initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communications, International Business, or related fields.
• 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience for optical fiber and cable products towards data center, AI infrastructure, telecommunications, or semiconductor sectors customers.
• Familiarity with Hyperscaler and IDC ecosystems; existing network or resource advantage preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; goal-oriented and self- driven.
• Fluent in English; bilingual in Chinese is a strong plus.
• Based in North America, preferably with Chinese background or local industry connections.
