Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech


Job Details:


• Work variable day shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract length starting ASAP
• 6-8 nights of weeknight call and 1-2 weekend calls during contract
• 30-minute response time required for call-backs
• Weekend work for call only
• May be required to float to other facilities (Aspirus Merrill, Antigo, Medford, or Stanley)
• Must have own vehicle due to on-call responsibilities
• Work in 21 operating rooms with average 40-60 cases per day
• Set up operative suites and ensure all supplies are available through case cart checks
• Scrub surgical cases across multiple specialties and efficiently turn over rooms
• Must be strong in orthopedic, neurological, and spine procedures including complex cases
• Required to handle cranial cases during call periods
• Must be proficient in total joint procedures
• Experience with general surgery, GYN, urology, plastics, ENT, and GI preferred
• Willing to assist with training new hires and perform downtime tasks
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted)
• AHA or ARC certifications required
• Minimum 4+ years of surgical technology experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• High school diploma required
• Holiday rotation as needed

The facility maintains high surgical volume with 40-60 cases performed daily across orthopedic, neurological, spine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, plastic surgery, ENT, and gastrointestinal procedures. As a Level II trauma center, the facility provides advanced surgical care and maintains multiple locations throughout the region to serve diverse patient populations.
