Apparel Product Manager

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – in-office at least 3 days per week Employment Type: Full-Time Salary : $90-120k annually (Please Note: We do not provide sponsorships, so only GC and USC applicants will be accepted) About the Role A leading apparel company is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join its Los Angeles-area team. This role will manage product development and production activities while coordinating closely with Sales, Design, Technical, Manufacturing, suppliers, and overseas partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and experienced in managing apparel production from development through delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage seasonal Time & Action calendars for assigned accounts and product lines. Coordinate cross-functional meetings and drive action items through completion. Manage customer‑specific requirements including labels, packaging, testing, certifications, quality, and finishing requirements. Oversee product development, sampling, strike‑offs, lab dips, fabric development, and swatch book requirements. Partner with Design and Technical teams to monitor development status, identify risks, and develop solutions. Coordinate factory capacity, costing, production planning, and supplier requirements. Negotiate with suppliers regarding MOQs, lead times, and surcharges. Create and manage production styles, purchase orders, cutting lists, and related production documentation. Monitor production WIP and communicate production and delivery risks. Work closely with factories, fabric and trim suppliers, Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and overseas teams. Track factory liabilities, expenses, invoices, inventory transfers, and logistics. Monitor shipments and transit timelines and proactively communicate potential delays. Support unit planning and production meetings. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in apparel production , preferably with exposure to sourcing and product development. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Strong understanding of apparel production and supplier/factory processes. Excellent organizational, follow‑up, and problem‑solving skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Comfortable working with numbers and production‑related data. Ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international teams. Willingness to communicate with overseas offices and suppliers outside standard business hours when needed. Experience with PLM and ERP systems preferred. Experience with YPLM and Blue Cherry is a plus.
