Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Oncology

Location: Lacey, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour Shift (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Oncology Center in Lacey, WA. The LPN will provide patient and family education while supporting the clinical team by assessing vitals, handling pharmacy calls, labeling specimens, and documenting patient pain and concerns for providers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Assess and monitor patient vital signs.
• Conduct pharmacy calls and manage medication inventories.
• Label and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Document patient pain levels and concerns for the provider.
• Float to Aberdeen and Centralia clinics as needed, 3-4 times per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an LPN.
• Current state licensure as an LPN required.
• Experience working with Epic charting system preferred.
