Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic surgical environment and play an essential role in patient care as an experienced Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This contract opportunity requires confident clinical skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse surgical team across a variety of specialties.

Schedule/Hours:

• 36 hours per week
• 3 x 12-hour shifts, 0600–1830
• On call: 2 weekdays and 1 full weekend day per month

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care throughout the perioperative process, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to deliver coordinated intraoperative care
• Prepare the OR with appropriate instruments and supplies, according to the scheduled procedure
• Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties as assigned
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and procedures
• Respond to emergency situations with competence and composure, upholding best practices
• Participate in ongoing nursing education and skill development

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience in an Operating Room (OR) environment
• Familiarity with ENT, GYN, General, Neuro, or Vascular surgical procedures preferred
• Experience with Davinci XI robotic surgery systems valued
• BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including occasional weekend coverage
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Demonstrated adaptability and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
