The Assistant Managing Attorney will work closely with the Managing Attorney to ensure the continued success of the firm’s Litigation Practice. The person in this role will be responsible for: Overseeing a team in the maintenance of the firm’s docket, the preparation of the litigation calendar, and the coordination of all e-filing activities. Offering procedural guidance to all litigators as well as providing training to attorneys, new team members, and other firm personnel. Calendaring filing deadlines, drafting legal documents, and alerting the attorneys of upcoming matters, in addition to effectively resolving any issues that arise. Required Skills: JD is required along with admission to the New York State Bar. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules is necessary. Proficiency in electronic filing and calendaring procedures. Strong leadership skills, a proactive and strategic approach, and the ability to apply a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
