RIGHT NOW.John Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled & veterans.Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Ankeny Function: User Experience (CA) Title: UX DesignerYour ResponsibilitiesAs a UX Designer for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group located in Ankeny, IA, or Urbandale, IA, you will:Design intuitive and effective user experiences for embedded systems used in agricultural equipment.Design wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and deliver detailed specification documents.Collaborate with product management, engineering, and UX teams to align on user experience goals.Conducting design thinking workshops with stakeholder groups.Creatively addressing complex applications, impediments, and user journeys.Collaborating with UX researchers on product discovery, design validation, first click testing, usability testing, interviews, and surveys.Presenting your design vision and recommendations to colleagues, management, and executivesWhat Skills You Need3+ years of UX and UI design experience.Expertise in Figma and Sketch.Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.What Makes You Stand OutExperience designing for embedded software.Experience using Adobe products.Agriculture knowledge/background.Strong track record of communicating and presenting effectively.Capacity to lead design discussions and influence stakeholders.A portfolio highlighting your design process and experience.Strong familiarity with incorporating branding and common design system components and guidelines into product experiences.EducationBachelors Degree in Design or Human FactorsWhat You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
