Quickbooks Billing Consultant

This person will be required to work in Farmers Branch and Keller on-site for the first week, and then will be remote after. Hiring manager is only considering candidates local to DFW.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated billing consultant to lead the transformation of our billing processes, which are currently managed manually using Excel. The successful candidate will design and implement a scalable billing solution that seamlessly integrates with QuickBooks, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and control.

Responsibilities

• Assess current billing processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Design and implement optimized billing workflows.
• Recommend and deploy solutions that integrate with QuickBooks.
• Establish controls, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support the integration process as needed.
• Optionally assess tax compliance and accounting structures.

Essential Skills

• 510+ years experience in billing, accounting operations, or process improvement.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and system integrations.
• Experience in process automation.
• Proven ability to execute full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in invoicing and billing systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and project control.
• Management skills and procedure analysis.
• Project management expertise.

Work Environment

The role involves working with cutting-edge billing technologies and requires proficiency in QuickBooks. The candidate will work in an environment focused on process optimization and efficiency. Dress code is business casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Farmers Branch, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
