Contract | Days | 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) or 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, IABP insertion, PPM/TPM insertion, loop recorder placement, and PE cases
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status including Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Apply sterile technique, EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, and rapid response protocols
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment in diagnostic and interventional cath lab settings
• Care for adult patients across an average of 4 cases per day, with common diagnoses including coronary artery disease, valve disorders, and heart failure
• Adhere to isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (any state); Virginia active or pending license accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Demonstrated experience in a cardiac cath lab setting with diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations of 10–12 days per month, including weekends, with ability to return to the facility within 30 minutes when called
• Must not reside within 100 miles of the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a cath lab or interventional cardiology setting
• Familiarity with EP (electrophysiology) procedures and related equipment
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and advanced cardiac support devices
