Your responsibilities will include assisting during dental procedures, sterilizing instruments, and providing support to both patients and dental staff. If you're passionate about dental care and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.We are looking for Dental Assistants in the following locations:GeorgetownSouth Austin 78745What you will do:Greet and prepare dental patientsAssist dentists during procedures and maintain instruments and suppliesPerform basic and some moderately complex dental proceduresAssisting in handing instruments and materials to dentists and keep patients mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devicesSterilize and disinfect instruments and equipmentPrepare trays of instruments for dental procedures, and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.Recording patients health historiesTaking and developing x-rays and preparing dental compoundsTaking pouring and trimming dental impressions, and seating temporary restorations.Requirements:Active Dental Assistant CertificateBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.Preferred Experience:Experience as Dental Assistant, minimum of one (1) yearProficiency with EMR systemBilingual English/Spanish language skills are a definite plusWhat you can expect:Team support, career training and growthDiversity, equity and inclusive work environmentWork-life balancemeaningful work environmentHoliday, sick pay, personal leave, vacation, other forms of leaveexceptional benefitsvendor discountstraining and development
