Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess the needs of each patient and design personalized therapy strategies that enable them to achieve their goals
• Implement Effective Therapy Techniques: Apply research-driven interventions to enhance patients' daily living skills, cognition, and motor abilities
• Collaborate with Health Professionals: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver holistic, comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy methods to encourage progress outside of appointments
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment accordingly to keep individuals on their journey to recovery

Qualifications

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or specialized certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• Holding a valid NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
