Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role is suited for a professional with strong critical-thinking skills ready to adapt and apply a well-rounded clinical approach in a dynamic work environment. Candidates should be prepared to undertake a telemetry test on-site.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
• Conduct triage for obstetrical patients and administer appropriate interventions
• Use and interpret External and Internal Fetal Monitoring systems
• Assist and recover patients following C-section operations
• Manage and treat patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension and perform related assessments
• Educate and support new parents in postpartum care and breastfeeding

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• New York State RN License in hand prior to submission
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience with Allscripts charting system is preferred
• Community hospital experience required
