Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Utilize the nursing process to maintain accurate and current patient records
• Document comprehensive patient assessments including discharge plans
• Perform charge nurse duties with proficiency and initiative
• Demonstrate expertise in Computerized Nursing Informatics
• Act as a resource for patient care and staff orientation
• Engage in quality care monitoring and evaluation processes
• Maintain professional development and participate in Nursing Committees
• Uphold patient confidentiality and hospital representation standards

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Successful completion of CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams
• Recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility
• (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
• (Preferred) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• (Preferred) Experience with cardiac patient management
