Key Responsibilities for the Billing Specialist:

Prepare, review, and process customer invoices according to established billing schedules. Generate progress, AIA, time-and-material (T&M), and project-based billings. Review contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and supporting documentation prior to invoicing. Coordinate with Project Managers, Operations, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate billing. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, rejected invoices, and customer inquiries. Support month-end billing activities, reporting, and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications for the Billing Specialist:

2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or related experience. Construction, contracting, or project-based accounting experience preferred. Experience with Sage, progress billing, and T&M billing preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with electronic billing systems and customer invoice portals preferred. Understanding of billing processes, supporting documentation, and basic accounting principles.
