Job Summary:
The Newark, Ohio area is currently seeking a registered nurse (RN) for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supervising healthcare team members, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Newark, Ohio
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) prior to the first shift; valid nursing license; no minimum years of experience specified for application; located in Ohio; ability to meet the physical demands of bedside care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, developing and implementing individualized care plans, participating in patient education and discharge planning, documenting clinical interventions accurately, and maintaining a safe environment in compliance with hospital policies. The nurse will also provide direction and supervision to ancillary staff, participate in team activities, and pursue ongoing professional development.
