Schedule

• Routes operate Monday through Saturday, split schedule
• Dispatch times for the Ontario location are between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM
• Drivers are required to work approximately four (4) Sundays per year based on business needs
• Drivers may be required to run and cover layover routes as assigned

(Schedules and dispatch times may vary based on operational needs.)

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
• Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place products in designated customer storage areas
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures as required
• Handle collections and payments when applicable
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the customer experience
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 2080+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

What You Bring to the Table

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Minimum of six (6) months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three (3) months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language to understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records

Fmca Clearinghouse Requirement

*Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation. All drivers are required to register with the Clearinghouse database. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $30.00 and $38.10 per hour.
