Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair truck bodies, cargo handling equipment, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to understand requirements and provide updates on progress.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Truck Equipment Technician or similar role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Knowledge of truck body installations and modifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in diesel mechanics or related field.
• Experience with truck-mounted equipment such as cranes, lifts, or utility bodies.
• Prior experience with truck chassis modifications and upfitting.
